XB1 Needs A Mass Effect like Game.

When the Xbox 360 was early in its year Mass effect came out. Its was a XBOX only games. That till EA bought Biowares. XB1 needs a RPG like Mass effect, a HALO RPG would be amazing. What do you guys Think.

mass effect, mass effect 2, mass effect 3, the elder scrolls obliveon, king kong (if you can still get it) need for speed most wanted (2006) and arcade games like pacman

 

Best Mass Effect?

I like Mass Effect for many reasons. I like Mass Effect 2 for other reasons. Mass Effect 3 is a decent game, but they cut out so much it just didnt feel like a Mass Effect game should. The opening Press Start screen in Mass Effect with Vigil's Theme playing
is probably my favorite moment in gaming history however.

 

Hasn't Destiny got quite a few RPG elements, and similar gameplay to Halo?

For me, yes a Mass Effect would be awesome, or Fallout... then theres the Elder Scrolls MMO, what ever happened that?

I'd also love to see a new IP that's a reality based RPG set in current times, they're always sci-fi on console as far as i can tell.

 

Destiny isn't Halo. But destiny will be fun. I love the world and lore of Halo that's why I would like a RPG. I just want a good RPG on the XB1 as a XBOX ONLY game.

That's Destiny in a nutshell. Pre-order to gain access to the beta. Beta starts next week for Xbox One/XBOX 360 players.

Unlikely for at least a couple years, but possibly never. There isn't a large enough install base to pay for that level of platform exclusivity at this time.

 

I got the beta code for destiny I cant wait.

 

A got a scoop.....

Microsoft got an exclusive rpg franchise for Xbox ( for over a decade),it's called Fable.

Some like it,others don't but it's an exclusive rpg on Xbox.

And since Mass effect 2 ,the franchise has turn into an action/adventure game with a slice of rpg in it....

OK, j/k. I've heard of it... but TBH, it's been so long since I've heard anything about it, it's barely even on my radar anymore. I don't even know why, but it just isn't impressing me much when I do hear anything. Maybe it's just because most of the time
manipulative type games I've played just felt... gimmicky... might be the word? I don't know, but the whole time manipulation aspect started to get old with them I guess.

I'm giving QB a 'wait and see' until I hear reports from others who have played it.

 

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dragon Age: Inquisition yet. Made by Bioware. Essentially Mass Effect with dragons and magic. Coming to the Xbox One.

before E3 they had the video that showed a little more gameplay... a little more, but said they were going to have an actual showing at GamesCom which is just a month away.
