XB1 Live connection problems

    XB1 Live connection problems


    My xbox live disconnects then reconnects to live, since I got it a month ago barely ever can get into ghosts always says disconnected from xbox live servers or error code 8448,. Recently it has been much worst with this same pattern now repeating in Netflix,
    xbox video, and other games What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA/Minnesota Modem brand & model number: Router brand & model number: Netgear B90-755044-15 Wired or wireless: wireless, cannot get wired Things you have tried: redownloaded profile,
    power cycled, ISP opened ports needed, reinstalled game, Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Open NAT, and open NAT in game Any Error Codes you encounter: in ghosts, can't connect to xbox live servers at this
    time, or error code 8448 Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):Frontier Please help I have not been able to enjoy this console to the fullest!

    Hardware problems on Xbox One

    I had a problem with Live TV not working correctly. When I first set up the HDMI cables, I connected my cable box to the XB1. Live TV worked off and on. Video would freeze or I'd receive a black screen. Once, I even received a message saying my cable box wasn't connected to the XB1, when clearly it was. I looked around for others having that problem and found a solution which worked. At first, I didn't have the HDMI cable packed with the XB1 plugged into both my cable box and XB1. I simply used the cable I've been using. When I made the change and used a Monster HDMI cable from the XB1 to the TV, everything worked! Right now, my biggest problem is taking time to configure Kinect correctly.

    Can't use Xbox Live on Xbox One and Xbox 360 Simultaneously

    I connect with both my Xbox One and 360 at the same time (Xbox live) without any problems at all. I'm using a Netgear AC1900 Nighthawk R7000 router, both XB1 and 360 are connected via wireless (XB1 on 5Ghz and 360 on 2.4Ghz N connections)

    The Ghosts 8448 is not a Microsoft problem, it is a Ghosts problem. Same error code happens on the 360. On the 360 you can clear the cache and this fixes the problem. Haven't experienced the 8448 error on the One, and I don't know how to clear the One's
    cache, yet this is problem may be fixed by hard restarting your One. Hold power until the One turns off, then turn it back on.

  5. Ive had the same problem so I read about it, I was getting it on the pc. Basically error code 8448 for cod ghost happens on pc/xbox/ps . It is an issue with cod Ghost cloud saves they get desinced or something happens I don't know. Try calling Activision
    and ask them if they can restore the data.

    Try launching the game when you signed in, try to connect to the servers if it does connect or doesn't connect when your in the game try going home and then sign out of your profile and sign back in, it would be good if could do it while your already in
    the multiplayer servers, which should refresh the cloud saves a bit.

    Also if top is not possible, try to disconnected all your internet connections from the xbox (If wireless unplug power from the router), sign in in offline mode, play a bit of singleplayer until you reach a savepoint then plug the internet backin and sign
    in online. This is a way to refresh the saves also. Post back please with what happens.



    Also this is a confirmed solution but for the pc though, try playing 10-15 minutes online with a different gamertag/profile, then launch your standard profile as check if it gets you game up and running, if you will get disconnects. Bottom line it has a
    lot to do with cloud save games and I am not sure who is responsible for the cloud for ghost on the xbox, it might be Microsoft but probably its activision since its their servers for the game.

    That was problems I've had before but recently everything that needs connection it switched off and on really quick, and when I did get into a cod match this week i could only get into each march for about five minutes before it would disconnect

  7. Try creating a new gamertag if you don't have a secondary gt. Then please try playing with it online on cod ghost (Make sure your primary has your console as the home console set up so you will get gold on the main one. Play for 15 minutes or 30 online,
    then switch back to your main one. This solved my issue on the pc, otherwise becides calling activision and asking them what they can do regarding it, I am not sure. You can try ms support but since this is an issue with ghost and its save system I am not
    sure what they will be able to do about it.

    I talked with activision throughout a week and did everything they told me, nothing worked. I'll try that tho and if that doesn't work guess it's time to get BF4

    Bought BF4 today and it can't connect to the server and call of duty still doesn't work. I checked my detailed network statistics and I have a upload packet loss of 10% could that be what's wrong?

  12. yes it can. But usually it just gives you high ping in games instead of not letting you connect. Which probably caused the COD issue actually.



    Try this:

    Try to disable or enable WMM, note this might hurt you connectivity speed

    (not much) but still will lower it a bit. The packet loss should drop under

    appropriate levels so online gameplay will be okay. Also check QOS which stands for quality

    of service (lag, latency jitter etc.) Most routers have an option for that so

    try decreasing them or under QOS try disabling WMM option. It will not disappear

    totally but the packet loss will go down to acceptable levels of 1-3% usually. (Which should mostly be traced to test location, seatle)



    Also some people said previously that tinkering with MTU helps, but that's a bad idea in my opinion so skip that part.

    Bought BF4 today and it can't connect to the server and call of duty still doesn't work. I checked my detailed network statistics and I have a upload packet loss of 10% could that be what's wrong?
