XB1 Headset Adapter, Wont work with X0 Sevens or X32, or A40's????

I am also having problems similar to you guys for the past 5-6 months now. I got off the phone with MS after waiting over 2 hrs (because of the COD problems everyone is call in about) and got a person named Sasha on the phone. This person blamed everything
on me having a Turtle Beach headset and said "its a 3rd party accessory, so its their fault". Which I told him that is ridiculous that I cannot spend $160 on the X0 Sevens (which are supposed to be for XB1) and they have the same problem as my X32 Turtle beaches
I was having and a friend brought over his A40's with the EXACT same problem. He was supposed to call me back today (which did NOT happen) because he wanted me to test the brand new headset on a friends console on a different network WTF?

I have tried everything mentioned in these threads and from their "support"

Power cycle

Take out the plug for 5 mins

Clear MAC

Re-Update controllers (I have done on both of mine)

Use a different profile

NAT Open

Used different Adapters (I had 2 of them, before I returned one)



So to my problem. My issue is that I cannot hear anybody in parties or in live games when Im not even in a party. Everyone can hear me fine, but I cannot hear them. When I mess with the + and - on the adapter a little bit, I can barely hear them, but then
I have to turn down game audio so low that I cant even hear that. So its obviously the ADAPTER! I have done all the trouble shooting with these BRAND NEW turtle beaches on my cell phone and they work perfectly fine. So MS is in the business now of blaming
everyone else, and not supporting their products at all!

I suggest all of us make a statement and go out and buy PS4's! Its time to get MS out of the gaming business as they clearly dont care about customer support or their reputation anymore. At least my PS4 works and I can use the headsets on their system. I
guess thats why XB1 is being outsold 6:1 right now by PS4.



This is outright GARBAGE! I have never been so irritated over something that I have spent well over 1k on (console, games, accessories, etc) just to be treated like I dont matter.



This problem has gone on FAR TOO LONG!



MS FIX YOUR STUPID ADAPTERS WITH A SOFTWARE UPDATE!!!!!!

Why is it ok for you guys to ignore so many of our posts? This is a KNOWN problem. If you dont fix these issues (which worked fine before), then you are going to lose business. Its as simple as that.

Headset Adapter not working

I have the lunar white controller and my headsets work with the 3.5 mm but don't work with the headset adapter. I want to use the mute and volume on the adapter the mute button lights up and I can hear game volume through my headset but can't hear party
or game chat and the mic won't work with the adapter. I have a HyperX headset and x32 turtle beach headset that doesn't work with the adapter. The controller is updated so I don't know what the problem would be.

 

How to use a USB Headset?

the xbox one doesnt work with usb headsets yet only specially licensed ones like the turtlebeach Stealth 500x or the Elite 800X work with USB on the transmitter plus optical out.

you might want to check for headsets that use a single 3.5mm jack as a connection like the razer kraken or Turtlebeach X0 One/Four/Sevens and other ones that either come with a propietary Stereo Chat adapter or IF you have one of the new controllers with
the 3.5mm Jack built in just a straight pluug in then. i am sure there are also lots of adapters that combine 2 3.5 mm jack headsets to a 1 3.5mm jack. the choice is all yours.
