    XB1 Headset adapter problem


    Hi all,

    I have now brought the headset adapter and tried to use it XB1 Headset adapter problem :( nothing happened.

    Now after some digging i believe i need to update my controller whilst the adapter is plugged into it ,But i cant .My console updated my controller a while ago , before i even had the adapter , so when i go to the update controller option it says i don't
    need an update.The adapter is lifeless , no mute light..nothing.

    I have spoken with live chat and they say i should do a system update offline , but to be honest i don't like the sound of that , i don't wanna break my console !

    Any one else and this or a similar issue and know of a fix ?

    Xbox One Stereo Headset or Turtle Beach XO4 Headset

    The PS4 Gold headphones work with the XB1 as well.

    You just need the XB1 headset adapter and the cable going from the headset to the adapter. Works pretty well.

    Do YOU play with chat through speakers?

    I play with TB headset and not through tv.

    Will be getting new TB headset for the XB1 or an adapter when someone makes one.

    Same problem here. I have the headset adapter, the Elite controller. I've also tried it with my stock controller that came with the XB1.

    The XB1 has been hard reset.

    The controller has been updated.

    The option is greyed out no matter what I try.

    only way ATM is to disassemble the xb1 headset puck and solider in a chat back cable to go to your headset. Or wait for ms to release the adapter
