    I was about to purchase the FFX/X2 remake for my XB1S, but noticed that in the title it says XB1X. Is this purchase only locked to this version of the console or can I use it on my XB1S as well?

    Its perfectly useable on the Xbox One S model of the console. As pointed out by other users, since the Xbox One X is the most marketed console at the moment due to its insane performance capabilities, a lot of games are Xbox One X enhanced which can be
    confused with being an "Xbox One X" version. Other than the availability of 4k content being able to be ran, there is basically no difference in the game itself between version capabilities on either console model except in the technical department as far
    as graphics go and things like that. So have no worries about buying the wrong version, because so long as you're playing on an Xbox One... you're okay!

    xb1x is just showing that it can fully support xbox 1 x which means 4k higher frames and smoother gameplay to get everyting out of your xbox one x if you own one
