    Xb1 Day 1 and Case modding


    I thought this would be an easy thing to work out, I can find no info online. I'm thinking of doing some case modding on my Day 1 Xb1 and just want to know one thing. Is there anything at all unique about the day 1 console itself? I don't want to trash
    it if it's in some way different. From what I can work out the only difference is the black cardboard box, a day 1 achievement, a controller with day one 2013 written on it and a chrome D-pad. The one thing I notice is the manufacture date on the bottom, would
    this be unique? Sorry for the odd questions, I just don't want to change it if the console itself will be a collectors edition 1 day.

    Case Modding?

    You'd need to take off the warranty sticker to do any advanced case mods... So unless you're spraypainting it or something, I'm pretty sure that it voids the warranty.

    I want to do some case modding by I'm not sure if it voids the warranty. I mean if I get the RROD I don't want to be declined. So, does case modding void the warranty?

    no difference.. all the difference was in the controller... silver Dpad, logo.. less quality in the build..

    Unless you have some kind of proof it was the first retail X1 manufactured it'll never be worth anything significant, to many X1 day ones were produced to be collectable. I did a nice case mod on my first 360, the piece of junk died a month later lol.

    Unless you have some kind of proof it was the first retail X1 manufactured it'll never be worth anything significant, to many X1 day ones were produced to be collectable. I did a nice case mod on my first 360, the piece of junk died a month later lol.

    Xb1 Day 1, Wii U Day 1, PS4 Day 1. All 3 have performed extremely well. The XB1 stands out as mine barely produces warmth. This is a real leap ahead from last gen.
