XB1 Controller update

Discus and support XB1 Controller update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I attempted to set up this console over the weekend. Got a bricked kinnect out of the box so I had to send that in.     XB1 Controller update


    I attempted to set up this console over the weekend. Got a bricked kinnect out of the box so I had to send that in. In the mean time the console itself is all updated and I attempted to update the controller this morning. Took batteries out of controller
    and plugged in my USB cord into the machine and controller which the controller turned on and was functional via the USB cord, went to settings and system then update controller.

    But it says that I don't have a controller plugged into the USB port and won't update it, even though it is clearly hooked up and operating without batteries because it IS indeed hooked up to the USB port.

    I didn't buy a set of headphones or have the new headphone adapter (unless the headset/mic that was in the box is supposed to be plugged in too?). But I was under the impression that the controller needed a manual update for Titanfall so when I attempted to
    do so I was a little frustrated when the console said there was no controller hooked up via USB when it actually is.

    Any help here?

    Xbox One Controller Input Lag

    If you haven't yet, install the Firmware update for the XB1 wireless controller. This is supposed to solve this issue.

    Charging Controller Powers on XB1

    I have an official Xbox Controller, rechargeable battery and charging kit. When I finish playing the XB1, I select the power off function from the center button of the controller. The XB1 powers off as normal. However, as soon as I plug the controller
    into the charging cable the XB1 immediately powers back on. Sometimes it takes a while pushing the button on the console to get it to power off. When I plug the controller into the charger, I don't want my XB1 to come on. Can you please fix this issue with
    a future software update?

    XB1 Controller update

    Try updating the controller when the batteries are in. I did this and had no problems at all.

    Faulty USB. Found another mini USB laying around the house and it fixed the issue.

    Upload Studio: Voiceover Button is greyed out

    Same problem here. I have the headset adapter, the Elite controller. I've also tried it with my stock controller that came with the XB1.

    The XB1 has been hard reset.

    The controller has been updated.

    The option is greyed out no matter what I try.

    Faulty USB. Found another mini USB laying around the house and it fixed the issue.

    Did you follow the steps i mentioned in the previous post about updating the controller with the adaptor, headset and usb from the controller to the xb1 all connected?
