Xb1 controller drifting up!

My xb1 controller seems to be drifting up in every game and app. It started in titanfall its really pissing me off. I have researched this problem and the only thing that everyone says is either buy a new one or send it back with your warranty. There
are two problems, people have reported that when they buy a new controller the same problem reappears. I have had the controller for more than 90 days so I can't send it back. I've updated my controller, played with it wired, nothing seems to work. Is there
anything that I can do to fix this? Im probably not going to get a response but It's worth posting since it's kind of a common issue with alot of people specifically the people who play titanfall. If i don't get an answer, well than I will sell the Xb1 and
get a ps4 I had high hopes for Xb1 but I guess I had my hopes to high since MS has a bad rep with their products malfunctioning(red ring of death).

This happens after normal use of the controller.

My thoughts are that you have played a game that uses the thumb stick click as a button like FPS where this is the run button.

When using this click over time, the controller drift occurs.

Some have opted to have the controller replaced.

Other has opted to buy another controller and not use the new one for certain games.

I have three controllers now as this occurs to my first and second controllers.

I put tape of each to make sure I can always identify which is for certain FPS games, and not

Controller's bought both different location and at different times and I cannot play any games because coontroller dirfts up soo bad that I stopped playing. I've tried fresh batteries and different battery packs

 

my left analog stick is broken

 

Hey there, Hellsprophit 1. I am very sorry to see that your controller is having an issue where it's drifting. Just so you know, when you bump threads so often, it takes us longer to get to as we work from the oldest posts to the newest.

It seems like you're on the right track to get this resolved. If you get a new controller and it still does the same thing out of the box, please get that repaired through the warranty that the new accessory comes with.

Same thing is happening to me in wolfenstein, drifts left. Almost impossible to beat the game on hard because of this. Why does the x1 have to many controller problems??

 

I am having the same drifting problem on my controller that I've had for about 10mos and out of the RIDICULOUSLY SHORT 3mos. warranty. What decent product and company won't provide 1yr?!?

I tried the troubleshooting steps above and they did not correct the drift.

Judging by claims of all these XBox One supporters, it seems Microsoft should do something significant to correct the problem and return the support as it's CLEARLY a design/manufacturing FLAW. I am EXTREMELY hesitant to buy another controller as I now
expect that to break in 6-12mos and buying a new controller 1-2X/yr is simply unacceptable. I switched from PS3 to XBox One and judging by the quality experienced so far, I am now expecting the XBox One to DIE right after the 12mos warranty, which will prompt
me to go to PS4, so I don't see the point in supporting Microsoft with another controller or game purchases.
