XB1 connects to WIFI but thinks it's offline. Can't connect to Live.

Hi all,

Xbox was working fine but now can't seem to access Live services. Xbox live status page said there are no issues and I can see my friends online playing without problems.

When I check connection it says my connection is fine but multiplayer test can't complete.

Things I tried:

1) Signed out and in again

2) Hard reset of router and xbox

Did you try to see if a wired connection works?, if you're online then this can be due to problems with your internet service provider, in the past I had this issue so I switched to company because they weren't able to solve the problem.

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
console

Thanks ED. Haven't tried the wired but also haven't changed internet provider or router over the past two years so it feels disjointed to have that be the issue now unless there's something i'm missing. Definitely not savvy in this area so i might be
overlooking something though.

Hey,

You might wanna try to do a factory reset or request the Xbox be serviced if that doesn't fix the issue.

Thanks. After 48 hours of miraculously working again without doing anything...the issue has returned.

I attempted the process outlined above without any change.
