XB1 connecting to live. Can`t use any multiplayer features.

My XB1 is connecting to live but once connected i can`t do anything multiplayer wise.

My friends list is only showing occasionally, when it does show and i try to invite a friend to party i get an error code.

I can`t invite to game and i`m getting error codes when i try to check network settings. I`ve been having issues with Xbox live since the last update and as there was a message yesterday saying the xbox live was experiancing issues i thought that was the
problem. Today there is no such message regarding live but it`s actually worse than yesterday.

I`ve also noticed that even signing into the forums here my account information isn`t loading correctly and posts are giving me Oopps you found a glitch messages.

So to recap: No party chat, Sporadic friends list announcements, No multiplayer Game invite option and No friends announcements of activities and so on.

I haven`t tried any of the Apps to see if they are working as i just wanted a quick game with friends and was unable to continue so i turned off.

Any Chance you could give me an update at all.. I`m based in the UK is it a regional thing?

Unable to use xbox live features while running compatibility mode games.

when playing 360 games in compatibility mode on my XB1 I get in game messages that I need to be connected to XBOX Live whenever i attempt to use features like multiplayer, access cloud games, etc .

I am connected to XBOX Live according to the message I receive as the game loads and the main XB1 screen

Guitar Hero Live or Rock Band 4

I would get RB4. Huge song catalog, a full band experience, you can use old instruments if you have (though you need the adapter on XB1), and online multiplayer is coming soon, along with other few features GH: Live doesn't have.

Only thing I like from GH: Live is how music videos play in the background.

I´ve got almost the same Problem, but sometimes it has worked for a few minutes. My xbox isn't able to get a connection to EA Games or Destiny. Did you find a answer?

I have also had this problem since yesterday. I can get into party chat, but no one in the party can hear anyone else. All of my friends show up as offline even when they are clearly online because they are in the chat with me.

could be a DNS Problem of your Provider. In Network Settings of your xbox one you can use open DNS.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with using Multiplayer capabilities on your console.

Are you receiving any sort of messages when you try to access multiplayer features of a title?

According to your message, the console can connect to Xbox Live, however, it just does not have access to multiplayer features.

Is this correct? Can you sill use apps and browse the Xbox Store on your console?

If you can elucidate on these details we should be able to provide much more appropriate troubleshooting techniques to address this.

I connect with both my Xbox One and 360 at the same time (Xbox live) without any problems at all. I'm using a Netgear AC1900 Nighthawk R7000 router, both XB1 and 360 are connected via wireless (XB1 on 5Ghz and 360 on 2.4Ghz N connections)
