XB1 Can't see any wireless networks.

My XB1 Can't see any wireless networks. The router is fine and all other wireless devices work so it must be the xbox one. The only error message is that it may be a hardware issue. Is there a work around or an easy way to check the consoles wirless card?

My xbox one can't see any wireless network

My xbox has lost its connectivity via my wireless network. When searching for a network it is failing to recognise any network name in the vicinity. My router is working and connecting with other devices. The xbox website advises there must be a glitch in
the system but doesn't suggest next steps. Appreciate any support or advice.

Since you can't see any networks, please first turn off and unplug the console for 30 seconds and reboot as that usually fixes that.

Hi, try going to settings/ all settings/ network/ advanced settings/ alternate MAC address on the xbox. Select the clear option and then the restart option and try things again please.

 

Also make sure your wireless router supports the formats that xbox supports

Wireless n etc

It doesn't support some of the advance wireless n options so make sure you select variable on your router

No console supports some modes like mimo or ac etc

 

Try doing a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!
