XB1 can't connect with one friend but can with everyone else.

So this issue is pretty new to me, and I cannot find any support for this on the Web at all.

So my friend just got a XB1, his roommate (on the same connection) has been playing XB1 with me for 6-7 months now. We'll my friend who just got the xbox can connect/host games fine with everyone on his friends list except for myself. Now vise versa I can
do the same with everyone on my friends list, except for him, well and now his roommate who I never had a problem with before, I've been to their house replaced their router, checked both their NAT types, both open, my NAT type is open. I don't get it.

It's really frustrating because we both can play with all our friends just fine, but not each other. Does anyone have a solution or has experienced the same thing? I could really use some help

Can't connect to everyone.

I have a weird problem with my xbox. I can't connect to everyone. Some people i can connect with but not with my best friend.

I think it has to deal with my nat, but i've tried everything with virtual server and trigger port, that kind of stuff. But still I can't connect to him.

I can't connect to him on xbox live, only when there's an other friend online and at assasins creed brotherhood we want to make a party, it's also

impossible.

 

Most under-rated game(s) of 2012?

Basically every game I put over 20 hours in (so far) & haven't been nominated for any awards across the gaming industry.

Anyway, it's all opinions, and just because I find enjoyment out of a game, I don't expect everyone else to.

Especially the games where I get joy out of playing with my friends, that is something that is special for me & not everyone else. Not meaning no one else has friends to play with, but you aren't playing those specific games with my friends.

You can pick your Game, You can pick your Friends, but you can't pick your Friend's Game.

 

you said you "replaced their router" ....what did you use ? (brand and model #)

 

He bought a belkin N600, I just made sure to hook it up for them, called the ISP and they went through step by step with us to make sure we did it properly.

 

do you remember what his modem was ?....if just a plain modem with one port have him plug the xbox straight into it and see if problem is still there or goes away...(will need to reboot everything)

also , are both of them wireless or wired or one of each ?

 

He had a older belkin router, we essentially just upgraded the router, but both of their xb1 are hooked up wireless, I don't have the model number on the old one off hand. We're going to try hard wiring the xb1 next see what happens.

 

He's doing a factory reset right now, still no luck.

 

I was referring to the modem , not the router , and have you hard wire into that and bypass the router altogether...

 

Yes we tried bypassing the router all together, no luck. We called Xbox and they had no answers... this is really frustrating.
