    XB1 broken after up dating controller.


    Yesterday I updated my controller with the new adaptor. Ever since I updated I am absolutely unable to play any games. When I start a game it just dumps me back to the home screen. This happens with every game I have. Before I updated my controller, the
    XB1 was working perfectly, now this. Needless to say I am beyond ***. Does any know know a fix for this issue?

    hold down power buttin till it turns off... unplug unit.... wait a few seconds... plug back in... like ANY electronic device, including PC2 (which the XB1 is) could use a full hard reboot after any update it gets

    Have you tried fully powering down your console? Turn it off at the mains, that might solve your problem.

    Yes, you could try holding the Xbox One's power button while the system is on for at least 10 seconds. After you've done that, the system will then shut down. Go ahead and start it back up by pressing the power button again, and it will have the green start
    up screen. Your Xbox should be then fixed.
