    XB1 blank black screen


    This XB1 will boot and show the green start-up screen yet ultimately it ends up with a blank black screen moments after flashing a notice that the sign failed and must be completed via the controller. With the controller, I can activate the shutdown console/turn
    off the controller screen, yet that is all I can do via the controller. Otherwise, the screen is black. I have attempted to restart after pulling the power, yet I end up with the same black screen. Please advise.

    Sounds like some type of weird bug that occured.

    This issue is not covered in that troubleshooting link. It wasn't a blank screen as if the monitor wasn't connected, it was an OS issue. I was posting this curious to know what this was and if it has ever been seen before. I've reset the system using
    a usb drive with a FactoryReset file, so it's no longer a problem. However, I am still investigating just what this was.
