    X41 wireless headset causing download problem


    With no available wireless headset for xbox one I have been using my turtle beach x41 's

    until now I've had no issue playing games both online and off, but I bought thief today and have had a right headache trying to install it

    install was stopping on one percent and I found that xbox had this as a known issue where by they tell you to unplug or disconnect internet, that all worked well and good until I tried to play the game at which point I had connected to Internet again and
    the game wanted an update which then froze,I tested connection and found that I was connected I tested multiplayer at which it said my download speed was to slow, when I done the detailed test the result was that only download speed was affected.

    i contact my internet service provider and they checked everything as ok

    i later discovered that when my wireless transmitter was on it was affecting the download speed and when I switched it off everything was ok can anyone please explain or help as when new wireless headset comes out later this month I don't want the same
    issues

    Both the X41 and X42 are great wireless headsets.

    Do you use a Headset with your Xbox? If you have a Turtle Beach Headset, the receiver that comes with the X31 or X41 for example, will cause wireless interference between your xbox and your router. If you have to start the download over and over to get it
    to download it is most likely wireless interference. Have you tried a wired connection to see if that works? That will also cause your issues with getting disconnected from parties most likely.

    Turtle Beach X42 and the Xbox one

    I have the X41 and the Xbox stereo controller adapter. With the X41 base station connected to the Xbox via optical, I get decent game audio through the headset. I believe it's only stereo and not simulated surround sound. The chat function works with the
    stereo controller adapter, but it has the same problem that everyone else has -- there's a lot of static on my voice which makes it useless for chat. I think that the chat audio coming from these headsets, including the Turtle Beach and Astros, is at a level
    that's causing clipping, which is the cause of the static sound.
