    X360 A/V Cable (Composite0 not working


    My X360 no longer seems to accept composite video output, only HDMI. I need help!

    Transfering Data to New Console

    Transfer Cable just needs a working X360 External HDD to attach on and you connect the USB It has to the new X360 S. Then it shall transfer data by command. It doesn't need another working X360. By the way make sure it's Microsoft Branded or you gonna be
    walking into problems.

    Do you mean from Original (Classic) Xbox 360 and New Slim X360? If so then yes the A/V lead will work ok, If however you mean Original 2001/2002 Xbox then no, the cables are different..

    You can take a look at this article regarding no picture with the Xbox 360: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/console/tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

    If you're switching between composite and HDMI for whatever reason, you may simply need to restart the console or reset the display settings at startup. See the steps in the article above to see all of the available solutions.

    HDMI is the best option you want if you're looking for up to 1080p, whereas composite only gives 480i at best.

    If the PC and the X360 console are not connected in the same manner, this may account for the issue you are experiencing. Is the PC wireless? If so, can you connect it with another Ethernet cable to the same router as the X360?
