X12 headset echo

Hi guys, really hope someone can help me out here.

My X12's are giving off an echo in party chat. I can't hear it, but some of my friends get it pretty bad Some worse than others.

The headset adapter & controller are updated.

I can only use the 'chat' volume control on my X12's to adjust both chat & game volume - the 'game' + 'bass' controls do nothing.



I have digital audio settings set:

-HDMI - stereo uncompressed,

-Optical audio - bitstream out,

-Bitstream format - Dolby digital.

(followed from a TB setup guide, but still no change )



As of now I'm primarily looking to get rid of the echo I'm giving off, so I'm not unbearable in party chat.



Can help me troubleshoot this?

Turtle Beach X12 Echo Problem

I just hooked up my turtle beach x12's to my Xbox one. I can hear game volume fine and without an echo, and I can also hear my party members fine without an echo, but their voices echo back at them when they talk. Everything is hooked up properly. How can
I stop the echo?!

 

Other people hear themselves in party when using Turtle Beaches with Adapter

Hey everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me out with a headset problem I'm having. I have a Turtle Beach x12 headset, which I'm plugging into my tv for audio and the Xbox one Stereo Headset Adapter for chat. For whatever reason, I have no problems hearings game sound
and voice, but other people in my Xbox Live party can hear themselves echo. I have researched and repeatedly restarted my Xbox, swapped out cables, but I can't fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Found a possible fix, but I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly

Now, I have no idea how to do this lol, and neither do my mates.

Please someone here tell me you understand this guys directions, and maybe talk me through it step by step, button press by button press like a toddler lol.

This is driving me nuts
