    X1 wifi stopped working and xbox has done little to nothing to resolve the issue


    I have been battling with xbox support for two weeks and still have got no issues resolved . I was told it takes four business days to get back on my problem and here we are two weeks later . Someone else registered my serial number and ordered a advanced
    exchange . But seeing as I got my console at launch and can prove it , xbox just dosnt show any need to help .

    Here I am on the phone again let's see if it takes another week to get bs

    SOS Cant resolve the issue wireless not working

    So I need a little help. My Xbox one X Just stopped working with my wifi. No Settings have been changed No password Has been changed. I am typing this from my chrome book in the same room as the Xbox. Now it won't connect to the wifi at all today. Things
    done:

    unplug both xbox and modem

    reset the system

    Going to Do a soft factory reset in hopes that fixes it. I am growing concerned that may Xbox one x is on its way out. My pin icons are also messed up. Was able to load a game.

    This is the 2nd reset I have done in a two-month time frame same issue. Just wondering if there is more I can do.

    new console cant use wifi after first time setup and update

    i got a brand new xbox one console on 22/12/14, went to set up on xmas eve and during setup it asked to connect to WIFI, this was done successfully however during initial update it said update failed and console was then unable to use wifi saying hardware
    issue, it has connected and updated using LAN however i can still not use wifi. i have spent 3 hours online with supposed xbox support who are clueless and say it is common and as LAN is working they dont see what the issue is, well the issue is my router
    is no where near console and need wifi and if something is faulty then surely somethin shud be done

    can anyone advise on how to get this wifi working again please, done power cycle and factory reset and no change

    Still no code going on at least 16 days. I stopped counting. I still get emails from customer support saying they will investigate it. Then a few days later "has my issue been resolved response"....no still no code, issue not resolved. Yet nothing can

    I think MS is listening to it's customers. Look back to when the X1 was first released and how far it has come via updates. The major issues have been resolved IMO, but there is work that needs to be done. I think the customer base has to release that some
    things take time to resolve, patience is a virtue. Your "major" issues may not be on MS 's fix it now list.

    @Auswulf - I disagree. The X1 has built-in wifi, hence it is supposed to work to a performing manner via wifi. Telling people to not use wifi isn't constructive. The UI shouldn't need a lot of bandwidth - the data that "Friends" app (for example) shows
    is very little, a mobile phone app showing that data in less than a second.

    I understand seeing a "spinning wheel" when I maybe watch movies but certainly don't expect it when just trying to read a 5 word message someone has sent me on Xbox Live.
