X1 Silent Hills?

Yeah the X1 is dead silent, during gameplay and while at the homescreen. I'd get it sent in personally.

That's like asking "Will my next EA game have a Shop in the Main Menu".

 

Silent Hill games should just die at this point. I never thought I would say that, as I was a big fan after playing the second one. Now, they are just annoying, difficult, and the controls have always been terrible.

 

I hope it is, after seeing it would be great to have this on Xbox

Some parts are difficult....like when I was stuck in some dark hallway with two giant human-scorpions and all I had was one bullet. I guess I could have struggled a bit longer than I did, but I lost interest and played something else. I didn't care enough
about the story (if there even was a story) to fight through it.

 

I thought the PT demo was terrible. Which caught me off guard. I was expecting it to be amazing. It takes more than walking around looking at spooky stuff to make fun gameplay in my opinion.

 

I don't remember Silent Hill ever being known to have GOOD gameplay. It was all about atmosphere and puzzles mostly. Having a weapon doesn't necessarily make a horror game good.

EDIT: I find it strange that you think outlast is "very good" yet that game is all about walking around looking at scary stuff.

 

When they released the P.T. demo to the PS4, did it say it was an exclusive game or only on PS4? If not, then it will be released for the Xbox One as well, maybe not right away, but it will be.

 

First off, the early Silent Hill games had great gameplay. Guns had nothing to do with it. And Outlast is an excellent game. The action comes from running away. Fleeing for your life from an unstoppable beast can be quite thrilling. There was nothing thrilling
about walking around and pressing a single button to get a better look at something.

And by the way Black Bones, Infamous: Second Son didn't shove "Only on Playstation" in my face in the game either. Pretty sure that's not coming to Xbox. They only advertise that on the box.

aged well controls-wise simply because they are more loose but SH2 made them more rigid which actually benefited it greatly.

That said, they make the controls good without it turning into an over-the top action game.

isn't a degree of risk that comes from the confrontation, it makes the fear and tension come as ///"fake" because when there is no combat there is basically a definite way of getting around the obstacles. Outlast started to lose it's vibe when I realized failure
was simply me getting caught and not running away fast enough. When I can fight, there's a lot more risk assessment--either from my own skills to the resource management I need to pull off.

is more of a...nuanced explanation. But it hits all the rights notes needed for what I want in a horror game. I actually couldn't finish it to be honest. *** Ghosts.

 

Yes it is. It's just the P.T (playable teaser) that was exclusive to PlayStation.

I would like to play the teaser too, but I'm not willing to buy a PS4 until there's some full games that I actually want to play on it.
