X1 repair question

I sent my X1 in last week to have the disc drive repaired/replaced.

The Fed Ex tracker said it arrived and was delivered to xbox repair a 2 or 3 days ago. But other than that nothing.

Is there any other way to track progress or anything? The support page just says "order in progress" lol.

I don't mean to be anxious but I miss playing Destiny haha x)

Or for anyone who's been though this about how long does repair take once it's arrived for repair?

Repair times

I am going to send my X1 in for repair while it's still under warranty. The system is very loud when it starts up or when the disc is changed for the first 15min or so. When the disc stops spinning the system is inaudible. My question is does anyone know
what the approximate repair time is?

normally if your xbox is in repair it takes about two weeks to 2 months and you have a 90 day warranty left if it breaks again you can send it back in for free (well if it is in the 90 day period) also they delete your HDD so i hope you copied your stuff

When I sent my 360 in for red rings a few years back it took like almost 2 months lmao.

I'm sure they've sped things up a bit since then... maybe...? Probably not lol.

Guess it could be a lot worse, I was almost hoping they'd just send me a replacement and get it back next week though. Should have known that was just wishful thinking though haha.

 

It took 2 days for me to get my new console (Canadian..... EH)

No, I just did the free one with the warranty. Maybe thats why haha.

I didn't want to have to pay money for a faulty system >.<

And I just had Moshed Brotatoe for years, figured it was time for a change. Kinda miss it now though lol. Oh well.

I got an email from support last night randomly, saying that they had shipped me a new Xbox One to replace it.

Should be here Tuesday or Wednesday, i'm totally okay with this haha.
