X1 Power-Supply Buzzing Sound

Coming from this "Issue-Collection"(http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4269/t/1635188.aspx) I want to track some attention to this unsolved issue with the PSU which is really annoying.

My PSU is buzzing (weird electronical sound), very annoying as everything else is silent as desired.

Do I need to exchange the PSU?

(What is the MS advise for Austrian citizen as there are no MS-Shops to exchange?)

Console is silent but buzzing comes from power supply

Hi, my X1 power supply is buzzing - it is so loud! It is European version. Is it normal. I thought it should be silent. Now it is even worse that X360!

Buzzing power supply

Hi,

The power supply emits a constant buzzing sound. It's not very loud but it's constant and irritating. Is this normal or something to worry about?

Your best course of action would be to contact support via telephone in your region.

Is your power supply connected to a surge protector?

That can apparently cause buzzing. Otherwise you should contact the store you bought it from for a replacement.

I highly recommend you return it to the store you bought it from as Customer Support in Europe is terrible.

If you can't return it to a store then you will have to go through customer support hell.

They will insist you return you power supply at you own expense to their service centre in the Czech Republic.

You will then have to wait at least a couple of week for a replacement power supply. If the replacement is faulty then you will have to spend even more of your own money returning that as well.

Make sure your power supply is sitting on a solid surface and clear of anything blocking the vents. The buzzing sound might be from power source you have it plugged into. Maybe a surge protector? Try plugging it directly to an outlet or different power
source.
