and i am one of those folks

sure its going to take time, but i hope some of the old titles i want to play come to x1. ill just buy the old games in the bargin bins and go from there. only thing i wish MS offered was a way to UG the internal HD for a small fee, but i plan to get a 3
TB external HD at some point,

and im still waiting for the white x1 controller to come out, dang it MS.

Missing Gears Games from Backswards compatibility list.

this is where I ready about the backwards Gears games. Would explain why I got Gears 3 as I never owned a digital copy on 360 only Arcade store games. But doesn't explain why I have not received the others so clearly issues with xbox.

I see this whole " Backwards Compatibility " campaign as repeat of the Xbox 360's draw to lure Original Xbox owners to upgrade (only this time around it is the Xbox 360 owners being lured to upgrade to the Xbox One).

Once the majority of the user base becomes Xbox One, I fully expect the addition of games in this Backwards Compatibility List to trickle down rapidly into nothingness as support for it (Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility) is going to stop completely.

The backwards compatibility feature has tremendous benefits. And in time nearly the entire catalog of Xbox 360 games will be available. For those such as yourself this is awesome. As the Xbox 360 had great exclusives. Such as Lost Odyssey, Infinite
Undiscovery, and the bigger titles such as Gears of War and Halo.

I also would have liked to be able to send the Xbox One in (similar to the exchange program) to Microsoft and getba larger internal HDD. I currently have a 5TB External, and still I would send it in for a fee.

The white controller is quite nice. I luckily was one of the few the grab up the Limited White Halo Xbox One's as a back up to my Day One Xbox One.

I was in a similar situation years ago when my search for a PS2 friendly PS3 console was at an all time high, and those consoles began being phased out. Thankfully, I was lucky.

The "Backwards Compatibility" only exists for games that they have told the XBox ONE to recognise as "Backwards Compatible".

Most of the games on the XBox 360 simply will not work on the XBox ONE.

Microsoft will claim the reason they can't make everything available at once is that they need a Publisher's permission to make the game Backwards Compatible.

But the real reason Backwards Compatibility exists is to lure XBox 360 owners who have been on the fence for a while into the false supposition that they will be able to play their 360 games on the ONE.

If you could do that... why not buy a ONE?

All these games were the platinum hits series that MS made backwards compatable from the 360 to the Xbox.
