X1 keeps turning off

My X-1 keeps turning off every about 5 minutes!!

2 power bricks were tried, both of them are in good shape, and they light orange on standbuy and white with the console on.

The console is not hot. I made sure of that. It is now about 2 days off, and still, no improvement.

The turn off after setting is disable.

What to do, please?

my Xbox one keeps turning off in its own not even 30 seconds after I turn it on. I checked the power supply and it’s fine but it continues to do it. Any advice on what to do?

have the console plugged into a surge protector, plug it straight into the wall outlet. The xbox one psu has a built in surge protector. Aside from that it sounds like you need to set up a repair/replacement.

Unpluged from surge pritector, directly on the wall outlet.

It does not help.

It seems that if I stayed in the home screen, the console still running, but as soon I played a disc or a digital game, the console turns off.

Any other idea?

 

I have this exact issue since the updates tis past week. i started a thread on it and that's gone too?

I think you are right!

I don't think it is a faulty hardware related issue.

So, what do you think we should do other than waiting for the next update?

 

I'm in a good mind to send this back, but i don't see the point if updating the replacement console is going to land us in the same position. What's weird is that no body seems to be acknowledging the issue yet? You and I seem to be the only ones affected,
from reading through the forums.

I've tried everything from a different power brick to all the wall sockets in my house and 3 TVs even!! I'm at my wits end with this and just going back to my trusty old 360 (working without a glitch for the past 4 years) till someone replies about what
might be happening here.

I've even put this up on twitter and yammer.

 

I can say the update did cause troubles with brand new consoles, it made them unable to read game discs. Those users had to return the affected consoles and start a new with the patched update. I'm pretty much answering questions here and on the live chat
program everyday and will be honest you two are the first I have heard reporting this issue in a while. I'm not so sure this is due to Augusts update then again I could be wrong. This has been an issue for some in the past hence the support article I linked
above. You can wait to see if the issue shows itself with other users and is patched however I would recommend setting up a repair/replacement order.

my console is not new, I bought it on the release day.

I strongly think it is an update-related issue since my console was perfectly OK until the last update was installed.

I am going to set up a repair/replacement order.

I'm having the same problem, it happened after the August update. And it was working fine before the update. Now whenever I start a game I get 1 hour of gameplay and then it shuts off. It's annoying.

I can't setup a repair/replacement order because I live in Kuwait.

From what you described, I think your problem is with "turn off after" option.

Here is how to solve this issue:

Go to settings--> power --> turn off after -- > disable

You might get the tab names different than I wrote here, but you will get it
