  1. X1 HDD options?

I apologize if there's already a thread on this, haven't really been on the forums much in a while so I haven't kept up with the news.

Since the internal HDD's can't be changed or upgraded, is there a way to add any additional storage yet?

I only have about 6 or 7 game and my 500 gig hard drive is already full :/

Uninstalling and re-installing later wouldn't really be a problem either if you didnt have to redownload the patches up updates too, which for older games can take hours..

    :)

Do you think Microsoft should allow Xbox One users to Upgrade their Hard-Drives, or offer a service giving users options for them to Upgrade our hard-drives for us?

Most people wouldn't even think of changing the HDD in there X1. IMO it's would have been a waste of money to design the X1 to have a user replacable HDD. I also read some where you can change your HDD in the X1 if you want to void your warranty.

June update confirmed to have external storage support and more

Finally, external hdd support. Now Microsoft is starting to listen to the consumers. Although they screwed up big time with the X1 policies before I'm glad that they are rectifying and try to be better. Their recent decisions have certainly restored my faith in the X1.

Buy an external hard drive. It must be USB 3.0 and a minimum size of 256GB. The maximum is 16TB. You can install your games to the external and move games and off your internal to the external drive.

I got a 3tb drive for £80 a while ago. Well worth every penny. And they are even cheaper in the sales now. But like Power said make sure it's USB 3.0.

  7. If you can get an external drive with faster then 5400rpm speed, then it will improve loading on games you have on it aswell.

Find one with a good amount of space and speed, for a good price. And makes sure it's USB 3.

It is really easy to setup, and works great.
