X1 ESO targeting 1080p/30fps

The developers at Zenimax answered a lot of questions recently on reddit about ESO some of which are related to the console versions.

Looks like they are targeting 1080p/30fps. The servers will also be located in EU and the US.

bf4 rock solid. Ghosts on x1 30fps and 720p, the Infinity Ward director said x1 couldn't handle more. 1080p on ps4. 60fps, but occasionally racing to 90fps which appears to stutter on 60hz tvs. An error from infinity ward.

No, all seems quiet.... The ps4 is aiming for 1080p/60fps so the xbox should be able to do 1080p/30fps or 900p/60fps. I'm hoping for 1080p and locked solid 30fps

Thanks for the Info. 30 fps should be fine for this Kind of game as Long as the graphics are as good as the high Settings on PC...

 

I just read that the caht box will also be available in the game. Thats great as I prefer to text with strangers instead of inviting everybody to a Party Chat...

Any USB Keyboard works with the Xbox One so texting shouldn't be a Problem to connect with others.

 

Yea the option to use the text chat box instead of relying completely on voice is a nice addition.

 

I would hope they can get this to 1080p, my MacBook air runs this decently at max resolution, but with a lot of things turned off.

 

Glad to hear that they're planning a beta for the console versions.

I want this game to work flawlessly on console but am wary of this kind of game running at those specs.
