Why is it that on the X1, I can invite xbox 360 users to a game but they can't invite me?

I tested it myself and sure enough, on the 360 the invites go through but never show on the X1.

Little issues such as this has the potential to cause social problems among "friends." Good thing my friend lives across the street. I was able to show him that I never received the game invite.

And he also saw 1st hand that on my 360, no matter how many game invites I sent him, they never once showed on his X1.

I'll continue to test this but really. Shouldn't BC work w/o such issues across both systems no matter who's using either system?

    :)

    Hi!

If you are inside the backward-compatible menu (X360 interface from X1) you can purchase additinal contents for X360. You cannot purchase them directly from dashboard of X1, but you can only buy backward-compatible games.

  3. What is Microsoft's next big move?

More backward compatible games on the X1 would help a lot. The Master Chief collection will be wonderful bringing H1, H2, H3, and H4 to the X1. Even though it is not technically backward compatible, it is bringing games over from previous gen consoles.

If they are on the one hit the back and start buttons to bring up the xbox 360 dashboard.

    Getting discontinued ?

And the backwards compatible games on the X1 run off of the 360 servers.
