X needs repair...and I need help

hi,<br />My&nbsp;X (Scorpio edition)&nbsp;needs repair but I was wondering if I should delete my log in/live account info on the concole before sending it away?<br />Will that couse a problem if the service people need to start it up and look through the
settings or something?<br />Im a noob here so bare with me please

I wouldn't pay to have it repaired, but there are probably some online guides that might be helpful if the problem isn't too complex. It's also possible that someone who repairs Xboxes might buy it from you.

I gave mine to my son but it's no good if it won't read the discs. I don't think we have a store like that near me. I'm going to Google it and see if it comes up. I'm thankful we still have a Wii and Xbox 360.

 

Not at all. It's always best to factory reset the console or, at the very least delete your gamertag from the console before sending it off. If you are unable to do so or forget the service people will delete it for you anyway.

 

I have tried factory reset many times so my concole needs repair....no doubt about that.
