"X is taking too long to load for some reason" problem

Hello,

After I updated my Xbox One console to the "new experience", I get this problem.

My console is set to instant-on, and the following happens:

- I use my console, I turn it off afterwards.

- Next day, I turn it on. Nothing opens, I get "this program is taking too long to load".

- I restart my console, I get a black screen.

- I have to reboot it several times and disconnect it from the power, and then after a few tries everything goes back to normal.

This happens every time, I think the "New Experience" has some serious bugs with the instant-on mode.

How can I avoid this? I have the latest patch (the one from a few days ago).

Everything "taking to long to load"

Literally nothing on my xbox is working. I was playing fine until about 2 hours ago when I turned off my xbox to eat dinner, and now everything is giving me the "taking to long to load" message. Literally everything. Home was "taking to long to load" until
I unplugged my xbox, now I can load home and all my games, apps, settings, and even signing in is "taking to long to load." Nothing has happened since last time I used it, no power outage or anything like that, I see no reason why it just suddenly stopped
working. I have reset the console and unplugged it multiple times and nothing is changing. Bought the console at launch and have had no problems with it since then.

 

If you switch it to power saving mode does it resolve the issue?

 

I've had the very same thing Today. 3 installed disc games & 1 arcade title (all played previously) revert to dashboard after 5-10 seconds attempting to load.

Oddly, I also tried Valiant Hearts (Arcade) & this loaded but achievements don't pop.

Have hard booted console & router with no luck. Opened all my router ports, used fixed Ip address to avoid strict NAT which I do sometimes get but still nothing.

Online help desk suggested deleting profile & redownloading but this didn't work either.

Not sure where to go from here

 

The fact that you are getting a strict nat sometimes tells me your router is doing its job , some of your problems may lie there , what kind is it ?

Managed to work the settings so that the NAT was open but still didn't work. I'm struggling to get my head round why this would prevent the games from loading? Usually it just kicks me from the server or stops me chatting with friends.

 

If I switch to power saving the problem disappears, because the console fully turns off and on each time, but if I stick to this mode it takes 5 times longer to boot the Xbox.

It seems the "sleep" mode or "instant on" is heavily bugged with the new experience.

I don't know if a system reset would solve it, because getting things back after that is a lot of work.

 

That still doesn't work for me unfortunately

 

No fix or workaround for this? It is incredibly annoying to have to reboot and force shutdown the console every single time.
