X Button issue

Some of the buttons wear down over time and can become "stuck" as you have described.

One solution that I have found over the years (which may sound odd) is to spray some Lysol, or something similar, onto the button (not a whole lot of it). Give it a second, then you can wipe the surface of the controller off. This sometimes helps loosen
the button up and stop it from sticking. However, this isn't a permanent solution, your button may return to sticking after some time.

Yes it is the X buttton on my controller. I am not having power issues. It is simply the X button that is unresponsive. My A, B, and Y button work, as does the rest of the controller. the problem is only the X button. I am out of warranty so im basically

I appreciate the response and for isolating the issue.

In this case, kindly try to perform a factory reset keep my games and apps on your console.

Note: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options. Be sure to choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option so that you don’t lose any of your games and apps.

This will also help sync the data on your console properly. Once you're done, try to check if the G920 would properly work on your console.

Appreciate your help.

I tried with my PC and did not have an issue, but with ,y xbox it still persists.

its like someone is pressing and holding the down button.

any other ways to fix it?
