Discus and support X Box X Console Repair in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I would like a response from Microsoft with regards to the replacement of a 4 month old Console that was collected for repair and never replaced...     X Box X Console Repair


    I would like a response from Microsoft with regards to the replacement of a 4 month old Console that was collected for repair and never replaced despite numerous calls to the Support Centre that lead nowhere. All I have been told that no replacement will
    be available due to the fact that the Console is so new on the market. That is not an acceptable response to the Warranty agreement in place. When you phone Support, a barely English speaking person on the other side has no idea how to handle the call??

    X-Box Repair Procedure.

    Hi,

    My X-Box is with Microsofts repair centre.

    How will they advise me what day my 'repaired' x-box is going to be shipped back to me ?

    Do they include a report with the console stating what type of repair was carried out ?

    RROD--What Would You Do?

    There are places that can repair consoles. Look them up. It's cheaper than buying a new X-Box.

    That information is incorrect. If your console is found to be faulty it will be first repaired if it can be, else it will be replaces. Did you already submit a device repair request at https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

    Yes, the device was uplifted and the response is that there are no replenished devices available due to the "newness'' of the Console. That is the exact response I have been given. To me, this is not an acceptable answer. I could wait indefinately for
    Microsoft to finally find a replacement device. I am happy to give you the service number and serial number if it will help.

    If you tried to make your own service order on this page
    https://support.microsoft.com/devices     and you can't start a repair order please contact xbox support here and they can set up a repair for you, as any console within 12 months gets a free repair since it's within warranty - regardless of the "newness" of
    the console. That response was incorrect and should not have been said.
