    X Box series x shortage and Bots?


    How does this contine to be a big problem with new release gaming console? You are a software company and you are still unable to come up with a way to over come bots and DDoS hacks?

    You are allowing a black market community to set up everytime you allow this to happen. A black market that does not benfits the economy one bit. It is not like these guys are legitimate retailer who pay taxes like payroll, states and local taxes. Yet,
    you allow this to happen every single time. So much so all the big news outlet are covering it.

    I understand that you cannot account for all retailers like Target, Walmart, and Amazon selling 10 console to one person via bots. However, you sure can partner with then to develop and implement better ecommerce safe guards to slow this kind of stuff
    down. Again you are a software company!

    It is not like this is benefiting the gaming community as well as your company either. You lose revenue each and every time you allow this to happen because you are already in the hole when you make the console. The only way you help overcome that is through
    software sale.

    That person buying 10 X/S consoles is not buying games to go alone with that purchase. The data shows that everytime a consumer buys a new console they buy additional games and peripherals as well. Therefore that is a big lost of additional revenue that
    not only retailers, game developers, and hardware makers are losing.

    No one is going to buy next generation games for a system they cannot actually purchase or are being asked to pay 3-5 x the actual price.

    Some retailers are coming up with different was to combat bots like Sam's Club but there is so much more that can be done. For example I am sure that having a system to track shipping loction, method of payment, and a way to limited purchases of one console
    can be safety implemented.

    I understand that ecommerce and the pandemic has made this issue much more difficult. However, you have the data that should have shown you that this was coming. You knew that there are more people gaming and spending time home. So why not plan ahead and
    partner with retailer to address this situation more uniformly?

    You can even contact Ebay and work with them to limit the asking or selling price of these online sell. It is your product no matter what the end user has paid. You can stop this kind of stuff from day one. Let those black markete fight you in court in
    regards to their " rights" to buy and sale your product for 5-10 times the price you have it listed for.

    I really doubt that they would fight that hard either. What are they going to tell the Judge? I want to be able to price gouge their product?

    Most retailers would face fines for price gougeing in the real world. I have seen gas stations get shut down for going well over the price for gas when events in the world happen. When the power went out on the eastern seaboard you had gas station charging
    3x times the actual gas price and were told to correct the price to reflect the market or they were going to be fined and shut down I'd they did not. Those who did not were shut down and I seen it first hand.

    Yeah, I think the All Access bundle is probably the best option here, and it’s even more ideal with an Ultimate subscription included. Probably going to be the only true realistic and sure fire way to get one for a while. Certainly don’t want to purchase off a scalper selling the consoles at double the price - then most likely get scammed doing so anyway.

    Did you go through All Access to get your Series X? Remember, as revealed at the recent E3 event and games showcase, games like The Outer Worlds 2 and FH5 are going to be released in the next few months. And looking forward to MSFS coming to Series X|S soon, especially as all these game titles will be available with Game Pass day one. These games are going to look incredible on the Series X, with unbelievable performance :)

    Also planning on purchasing the Xbox Mini Fridge even just for a laugh. Would be funny after a typical night out when you’re not thinking clearly or logically and you try playing a game on the fridge, imagine that haha.
    Yep, I got one through All Access. to be honest, i wasn't planning on buying one till later in the year when the new Halo released...then I noticed that one of the retailers doing All Access had them in stock (first time I'd seen that) so figured I'd take the plunge.

    FH5 and Halo are the only ones I am looking forward to and I'll buy them anyway as certain games I like to own. They will look incredible that's for sure...the FH5 trailer on a big 4k screen looks amazing.

    As for the mini fridge: For once in my life, I just have no words at all!!
