    I have just tried to power up a new Xbox Series X for the first time. The startup "X" button lights up and then immediately goes off. If you hold it down, it's the same. If I insert a disk, the disk
    is drawn in only half way, and then the unit powers down. If you double tap the "X" button on the console, you can briefly hear the "power on" and then "power off" sound. Not sure what we have to do to resolve this. Can anyone help?

    Hi,

    The Series X is multi-voltage, you can use it anywhere in the world. You don't need a power converter/adaptor. All you will require is a new power cable. The Series X|S consoles use a fig 8 power cable which you should be able to purchase from an electrical store in Bahrain. These power cables are very common and are used to power many types of electrical devices.

    The Xbox One X is a more powerful Xbox One. It's last gen. Go for the Series X, as that the most powerful Xbox at this time.

    if it is a power cable and brick then it is an xbox one big black box with external power, microsoft do not make these anymore and yyou would need to source a third party one, if a series x then any figure 8 cable will be fine.

    One option is to try to get a new power supply diretly from microsoft, the other option is to get a power converter to use it.
