    X Box Series X constant crashing


    Hi,

    Have had an ongoing issue with my X Box Series X since purchase. Most (but not all) games that are enhanced for Series X constantly crash or completely shut down my console.

    My console is in the open and has plenty of ventilation. Older games I haven't had any issues with at all.

    A few of the games that have been causing this issue are, Aragami 2, Mechwarrior 5, Twelve Minutes, Outriders and Hitman 3. Most of these games are via Gamepass because I have been hesitant to spend money on a game that I then can't play.

    Anyone else having similar issues or know how to fix them??

    I understand and it's common for a game on its release to cause this but most games cause this doesn't seem to me to be a problem with games. If it was just a game causing it I would say it's the game.

    I have tried all of these suggestions. Last time I contacted Microsoft I was told that as some games were working and not others it wasn't a fault with the console. I have thought all along that there is a fault with the console.

    Would like the authority to return it for repair/replacement

    I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the community. How are you?

    I recommend you clear your console cache.

    Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply. Plug the console power cable back in.  Turn on your Xbox.

    If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app. In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console.

    To reset the console> Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    If the problem still persists, please reinstall the games. If it doesn't, I'm afraid the console needs repair.
