x box rewards

this is driving me nuts - support cannot help - my rewards cannot go on my account because of my age (I am over 40) - I have an adult account but my son's is connected to it so thinks I am 12 - how can I change this? I have xbox live gold but does not seem
to show this.

forums.xbox.com/.../4415522.aspx on 5th January, had nothing since, contacted X Box support and X Box Rewards team several times via twitter and getting either no response (X Box Rewards) or useless responses telling me to post in/tweet to different places
(X Box Support). Instead of passing the buck why not just sort this issue out for me please!

There is no way to change the age of an account once it's created. If it's an adult account then it should have your correct age. If you had entered your son's birthdate when you created the account, then it would be a child account. There would be no way
it could be an adult account if the age is under 18.

So if it is definitely an adult account, you would have to post in the Rewards forum so Rewards support can check into it -
