    x box one x scorpio edition suddenly turned off


    I am having a permanent cut off problem with my x box one x console.

    The console turned off without any forewarning whilst playing assassins

    creed last night. Every time i turn the console back on it gets to the

    green x box one screen and then always turns off again without fail. I

    have unplugged the console from both the wall socket and the power input

    at the back on numerous occasions but it still continues to do this.

    There is nothing amiss with the power cable as the console keeps

    powering when switched on but always turns off of its own accord. Has

    anyone suggestions to fix this or shall i return the console to

    microsoft for an exchange.

    Oh My Project Scorpio...

    I've being prebook my Project Scorpio two month before the launching on 7 Nov in UAE. After travelling from hometown for one month I did open the box, plugged in the console and everything is fine until suddenly my Scorpio suddenly turned off and unable
    to turned on since then.

    So, I brought the unit back to reseller but there were no more Scorpio available for one to one exchange. Now, I'm stuck with Xbox One X with standard console (to play for this incoming holidays) and all the pre-booking, waiting and did took some days off
    work to play with Scorpio became WASTED! There is no more special privilege feeling of having Xbox One X Project Scorpio limited edition as promoted two month before the launching.

    Sad, sad and sad....

    Concerns about the reported problems about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

    I just purchased an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition off of Amazon and I'm concerned about the failure rate, heat, fan noise and other problems with Scorpio Xbox One Xs by reading the forums off of Xbox.com and others. I haven't opened up the retail box
    yet. Should I return it and get an regular Xbox One X or an 1-2 TB Xbox One S?

    So how's your Project Scorpio Xbox One X doing?

    I have an Xbox One X, not the Xbox One X Scorpio edition and mine isn't slow or clunky. I think they made so adjustments to the Xbox One X after the Scorpio edition came out.

    Controller becoming unresponsive

    This is happening to me as well. Already exchanged my Xbox One X with another one (also Project Scorpio Edition). Both exhibit same behavior. Controller turns on the console then desyncs. I have to turn it off and on again for it to resync.

    This only happens when console is completely off.

    you could try a console reset either via settings>system>console info>reset console

    or this way:

    1. power down by holding power button on front of xbox for 10 seconds

    2. unplug from wall socket for 30 seconds

    3. reconect power

    4. press and hold both bind and eject buttons and then press the power button, keeping bind and eject pressed

    5. wait for a second power chime, can take around 15 seconds

    6. select reset console from troubleshoot menu

    Both ways give you the option to keep games and apps or completely wipe and reset. I'd keep games and apps for first try

    I believe it was "Xbox" or whatever the deafault was for the Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, but then I changed it to Project Scorpio.
