x box one s

hello guys, I have an issue regarding my x box one s. I haven't played it in like maybe 2 to 3 years, I recently tried to do a update on it but when I do it get to like a point of like 50 percent and throw and error code. I google the code to see what it was alot of people are saying like hard drive failure or a bad download, so I bought a ssd (500gb) and gotten a usb for the offline update, so I tried the usb offline update with the original hard drive, it didn't want to work. so I replaced the hard drive with a solid state one, and used the osu1 offline update, I ran into the same.issue about 35 percent before it gets to stage 2 of the update it will say unable to update and throw another error code on the new solid state drive. now back to the original hard drive before replacing it I did a factory reset I had one hell of a time getting it to factory reset to maybe to see it need more room for the update nothing didn't work, now my x box will boot up correctly on the original hard driveI just can't go online because it requires and update and it won't do the update., I can play my disc games fine but it won't save to the original hard drive. the original hard drive is clean I did a factory reset i am lost for words of why it won't do the download to go online. my x box doesn't have warranty, so I'm stuck trying to solve it myself. also I try the offline update wireless and hard wired and it just won't update. what am doing wrong. before I stop playing my x box vs now I do have a different internet provider.
