X BOX ONE S games closing to the main screen

It could be, that similar to the Xbox 360, Microsoft might have put certain checks in the hardware, that people with guides on how to swap the Xbox One hard drive might not know about.

For example on the Xbox 360, the optical drive and mainboard were cryptographically married, and the process to put in a replacement drive is not fully understood.

Yes, some hackers have gotten it to work, but after a system update, that modification was detected, and the drive was unusable.

Maybe something like this happened, when you replaced the internal hard drive: You just followed an unofficial guide on the internet from someone who just understood as much as to get the hard drive booting up the console.

Unfortunately, since you opened up the console and changed internal hardware, Microsoft can't officially help you anymore with that console.

So never ever attempt to repair/replaces something inside your Xbox console.

What do you mean you replaced the hard drive?

Where are your games installed? On the internal drive or an external USB drive?

When you say "hard reboot", how exactly did you do the hard reboot?

When the games close to the home screen, does the game at least start to the main menu (where you can press A or any other button to continue), or do you simply get the game's splash screen, and you immediately get thrown to the dashboard?

Is the game you're trying to play a disc based game or a digital download game?

If you then suggest the issue to be on the motherboard, then I'm afraid there is nothing you can do.

Since you already opened the console, Microsoft will not take it for repair, not even paid repairs.

If the motherboard is defective, your only option now is to buy a completely new console.

Before doing that, try a complete factory reset again. If that doesn't improve the situation, I'm afraid you'll need to get a new console.

I swaped it back to the original one, and console turned on fine, with the same exact issue being present.So even if swaping hard drives could ve add some new problemes they are not related to the main problem, the plroblem has to be looked on as if hard
drives werent touched at all.

About the crash: it has different versions , the most popular one is while the game is on its loading screen for the first time, it closes.after opening for the second time the game proceeds to start.But sometimes after it starts ,it crashes during the
game randomly from 10 to 60 mins into playing.

Problem seems to occur with disc and digital games.
