    X-box one multiplayer with gold? What?!


    Okay, my brother just got an Xbox one, and the main reason was to be able to play Halo 5 Guardians. We have all the others, and mostly play multiplayer slayer games. We finally got Halo 5, and we have to get Xbox Live Gold to do multiplayer? Okay, 343 and
    Microsoft, this is a bit ridiculous. Spending all the money to allow us to play the game and we can only do campaign? And, by the way, there isn't even co-op on campaign. We put so much effort into getting all this and now we are surprised, angry,
    and sad. Can you fix this? Can anyone? I speak for a large community of players by saying multiplayer should not require Xbox Live Gold!

    Rock Band 2 X-Box live no work

    When i go to get onto Rock Band 2 for X-Box live on my 360 it says, "In order to play on X-Box live you need to be signed into an X-Box live enabled gamer profile with X-Box live Multiplayer privileges enabled with X-Box Live"



    I have a X-Box live membership and as far as i know the multiplayer is enabled. I have played Halo Reach and other games on X-Box live so i am confused as to why its not letting me play this on live.

    gold is required long time ago, so now quit it sounds impossible but you can share your account key with your brother in order to don't buy 2 copies of halo 5 and double gold membership. Both of you can share gold and digital games without sign the other

    Gold is required for all online gameplay on Xbox One. This isn't anything new. It's not that pricey. Back when I started playing games online, I would pay 15$ plus tax to be able to play just one game online. Microsoft allows you to play any game you own
    online at a lower price point. I think that's quite reasonable.

    While I am a huge fan of HALO 5, I will agree with you that the lack of split screen is a huge disappointment. I truly miss playing with my boys.

    I semi agree with the op. X Box One is boring, had more fun on X Box 360. Got so boring that I didn't renew my gold membership last month. My dad has an X Box One X, but he doesn't go on it a lot. My mum watches Netflix with it. I still have my X Box 360
    console tucked in my wardrobe. Well now there's cross platform multiplayer, but over half the people we're on a different platform, not an X Box One console, the long multiplayer loading screens, people with no mics, and not enough people round my age on the
    console, which sucks. My best friend has a Windows 10 laptop which has the X Box Companion App thingy. Welp I won't have to fight over the X Box One console. X Box is still kwl though ^-^.

    Can't play certain game types in Halo Reach

    I've got the 250gig and I can't play either, i've tried black ops, Halo Reach, Halo 3, no multiplayer available, and yes i've got x-box Live Gold sub, i've turned off the parental settings etc... and yes I a connected. Console gaming just sucks really bad,
    espacially X-Box Live. What a waste of time and money. Any suggestions welcome, but i'm guessing no one will have the answer.
