    I have a Xbox one S.... the left joystick of my controller is broken and thus make renders the controller useless.

    Then I order another controller. works for a few weeks and now keeps going off. I have updated firmware whilst having it connected to my console with a USB cable. Still no fix. No wireless interference. Also put new sets of original Duracell batteries. Still
    no fix. Once I press the power button the pad comes up and after 5 seconds it goes off. Now I have to connect with a USB cable for me to use.

    This experience is bad and I might even consider trashing the whole console altogether

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that the left joystick on your Xbox One S controller is not functioning correctly. We have

    a support article     which provides solutions for this type of issue. Generally, the controller will need a repair order if the joystick is not working. The warranty for a standard Xbox One S controller is 90 days. As long as the controller is still in warranty,
    you can create a repair order on the
    Microsoft device website     or by
    contact support    . Be sure to let us know the results!

    Thanks for coming to the forums. You can try the accessories app on the PC. There you can make a lot of different adjustments. Let us know how it goes.

    Regardless if a controller came with a console or not you can ship it off for repair. This one obviously seems broken, there is a fail ratio with all electronics that x amount of a batch will malfunction and unfortunately you have that x amount

    Just go to https://myservice.xbox.com/ register your console and request a repair on your controller

    I have tried another controller and its same thing. I don't think it's the controller there is something else either I would it's wifi interference or system malfunction. This is new problem with have with Xbox One X system I don't know what to say.
