    X box one a won't read game discs


    I bought my Xbox one s over a week ago and only the last few days tried using discs to play games on it.

    When I insert a game nothing happens and nothing shows under games and apps. So far it has done this for two out of the three games on disc I've tried. Only way to remedy is to hard reset it Everytime via holding power button ten seconds etc.

    Is there a hardware fault with the battlefield one green edition perhaps ? Bought it brand new from Newegg.

    My x box one won't read any disc .I try x box one games,I try blu-ray ect.. keeps saying error. who do I contact someone about this?

    Second X-Box 1 Won't Work/Read Discs

    Well just wanted to play some Black Ops and removed the Battle Field disc and the drive sounds like sand paper. Won't read any X-Box 1 discs.

    Total shut down/unplugged for 10 minutes and nothing.

    Guess this is the second one to go back to MSoft.

    Should have went PStation I guess.

    Hi,

    Ive checked the power saving menu and it was already set to power save and NOT instant power on.

    I'm having the same problem. I bought my white X-Box back in 2007 and the game just won't work. I've tried installing to HDD and get "cannot read disc/disc dirty" errors at 40%. I spoke with X-Box support who said that the disc drive was starting to fail
    and that since my X-Box was out of warranty, I'd have to spend $100-120 + tax + shipping to send it in to get fixed. I tried to play it on my buddy's X-Box Elite and got the same problems. I've exchanged the disc and got the same problem. HELP!!!!

    First, it is important to point out that a physical game can't be converted to a digital one because the game license is attached to the disc itself.

    Besides that, would I know, is an Xbox Series X or Xbox One the one that doesn't read the disc?
    Additionally, the other console that read the disc, is an Xbox One, or a Series X?

    Moreover, is this EA FC24 for both the Xbox One and Series X, or only for one of those consoles? You can check this by looking at the box.
