X box game pass refund

That depends if you have full months left on the subscription.

If you are paying monthly, then you need luck and the benevolence of a
support agent.

If you paid for 3, 6 or 12 months, you will get a refund for the remaining FULL months, if you go

to your subscriptions management page and cancel the subscription now.

So for example, if you have a 12 month subscription going, and you just got billed, you will get a refund for the remaining 11 months, as the first month has already started.

Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to get a refund for any of the previous months minus perhaps the most recent one. Just because you weren't using the subscription doesn't mean it wasn't active. It's like Netflix, if you subscribe and don't watch any
shows you still pay for the subscription. You've agreed to these terms just like you did with GamePass. Too much time has passed to get a refund and you guys had recurring billing turned on. So it's not a Microsoft error. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

When I log into the account there is nothing I can request a refund for.

I think I need to speak to someone to explain the situation but due to Covid 19 they are not taking calls.

I think I may have to wait till this is all over to get an answer.
