How do we connect the Xbox 1 to the new modem?

Y: Internet setup type 00A8 - E840 U.S.A. Version Wireless Receiver for X-Box 360 Console. Others would be Ethernet cable or out of U.S.A. model of receiver.

Z: X-Box Policy Offenses. 0000 - 0000 = No X-box offenses. Any other = Ban or Suspension

Thanks for bringing the question to the forums. I will be happy to help. Want you to go to Settings>network>network settings> advanced settings>clear alt mac address then restart.

Once the console restarts you will want to connect to the internet via wired or wireless.

• Connect wired or wireless

Follow the guide for whichever way you connect.

Please advise how to connect the Xbox 1 to the new Xfinity modem. We have been able to use the Xbox previously but somehow we lost the ability to access the hardware.

 

Hey Axel,

Let's try to get you back online! For a wireless connection simply do the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
6. On the Network Settings screen, select Setup wireless network on the left side of the screen.
   

You will be asked for the network password, and in some cases it will authenticate with your ISP. Afterwards it will run a connection test letting you know how good it's doing.

For a wired connection, simply plug in the ethernet cable and it will automatically try to connect to your router. We suggest you run a basic connection test upon connecting to make sure everything is alright. Hope this helps!
