    X-Box 360 not recognized on tv


    X-Box 360 getting power, but nothing showing on screen. Just shows Component 2 and black screen. Wife switched tv stands yesterday, and plugged everything back in the same way as far as she knows.

    How do I get X-Box One to turn on receiver, TV, and cable box?

    I have it hooked and working so far. During the set up it recognized my TV (Sony) and cable box (Motorola). It did not ask about a receiver (Sony). I would love to be able to say X-Box on and they all come on together. I do not know how to get to the
    settings area for the X-Box one as well. Or the power management area if it has one.

    When I turn everything on it changes channels and all fine. I just need to figure out how to turn them all on at once.

    Cable box HDMI to X-Box One

    HDMI from X-Box One to back of Sony receiver

    HDMI from Receiver to TV

    AV Receiver Model- Sony STR-DH720

    Cable box- Motorola DCH 3416

    TV- Sony Bravia 55" Cannot see model, but is a newer model It is 3-d capable.

    Sound set up via HDMI wires

    Hi,

    I have decent Sony receiver I use for TV.

    But when I set X-Box HDMI wire to Receiver, there is no sound.

    What are correct steps to set up X-Box 360 sound with 2 HDMI wires.

    Shoud I connect one from X-Box to TV and then other from TV to Receiver.

    I don't have optical wire so that is not an option.

    Xbox one no longer recognizes my HDMI on my TV

    I'm having the same problem. My TV is not recognizing the xbox one thru hdmi but it recognizes the cable box and computer. I've tried different hdmi ports on different TVs, it's not working properly. Somehow the xbox one can still turn on and off the TV.

    I think I gained the problem by switching the power settings as well and now can't get the xbox to play video games or recognize the tv. I'm going to unplug the cable box tonight and it will begin acting as my xbox 360 the sequal.

    When I turn on my X-Box One after playing my X-Box 360, I have horizontal lines, and screen eventually goes black.

    Well, I tried plugging my lap top into my tv as well as using my Blu Ray player, and there were no issues. I used by 360 on another tv and had no issues there. Its only my X-Box One that is affected by my 360.
