X box 360 not playing all my game discs.

I own an Xbox 360 and an x box one x the one x is wired into my net work and the 360 is on WiFi . I own probably about 50 game discs for the 360 which all used to work . Currently only about 5 discs will play. What is going on .Is there a setting to get
my other 45 games to play .very frustrated. Please help me I have a lot of money invested in the old discs. Never should have given away my Nintendo 64.

Hi BingestCHEECH. I am sorry to hear that but if the game disk are to damage scratched or warped the Xbox 360 will not be able to read them.

What ur issues ?

Ur 360 disk not work on X or 360 !

If on the X not all 360 game backcompatible

If on 360 try to clean the disk

Is the disc detected by the console? Or do you simply get an "Open Tray" option?

If the disc is detected, try to install the game instead of playing it from disc.

Also, try the following procedure with the non-working discs:

Take the disc(s) to your kitchen and apply a few drops of mild dishwasher soap to the silver side of the disc. Wet your fingers and "massage" the soap around the disc in a sprial motion. From now on, hold the disc with your index finger in the hole and thumb
on the rim only. Rinse the disc under running water and shake a few times to get the water off. Wipe the remaining drops with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Then try the disc in the console again.
