    I have given our x box 360 to my son for grandchildren. He says he has set it back to factory settings but it still is asking for parental code. I cant remember if we ever had one. Can anyone tell me how to get this all working. I am a complete novice
    at all this

    How do I get Microsoft to call me back?

    Can I just say that these details are for X Box One and they are not the same for X Box 360. There are no options for technical support on X Box 360.

    The problem is the machine is at my sons now. Would i have to be with the machine ? Or would the serial code be enough info ?

    Hi Judy,

    Ask your son to try Jeremy's suggestion or follow the Wiki Steps - failing this you will need to call support for them to delete the code and unlock the machine.

    They normally ask you to go through a process and so will need to be with the machine, however, if you explain the situation they will take a look and verify that they need to unlock their end.

    Having the serial number to hand may be all they need to reset.
