    Hello. I have problem with buzzing noise from fan.I want to know this is normal of xbox 1 x fan sound or not. That sound will appear when I played game from digital game.Thank you.

    Loud Power Adapter

    Have an X-Box 360 with a quiet power adapter. X-Box one however is loud (constant buzz) even when not in use. I have ensured under power settings that the X-Box one turns off after one hour of inactivity. With white light on and X-Box one active you can
    clearly hear the buzzing noise. Acceptable when playing I guess. However the X Box is shut down and I can clearly hear the power adapter with its buzzing noise. X-Box one is under warranty until 2017. Power adapter product replacement will be $60. How do
    I go about getting a replacement without having to pay $60 especially as I could end up with another noisey adapter? Or is there another option? Would like to ring, using a telephone or mobile phone, and speak to Microsoft agent but there is no phone number
    to ring.

    Hi there,

    I know it is normal to hear the fan, but it's hard to determine if the sound you are experiencing is normal or not.

    If you have friends or family that own a X too, you could try and compare it to that.

    And if you remain in doubt it is normal or not then it's best to contact Xbox Support to hear what they will advise to do.

    That buzz is not typical, is there a disk in the optical drive at all? Sometimes an unbalanced disk will cause odd noises (I have one movie disk that creates an odd buzz and spins up and down at odd times if I leave it in the drive, otherwise my fan is
    near silent). If the drive is empty and it makes that noise something might be rubbing against the fan so might be worth following up.
