    X blu-ray compatibility

    ok guys,

Technical question, I’m looking online to buy blue ray movies. Mainly Star Wars complete saga & planet earth 4K. In the description area it’s states that these Blue Ray movies won’t play on console. Is there a specific blue ray movies I need to buy or
is it because the seller is selling pirate illegal copies? This is for my Xbox One X?

    :)

XBOX ONE X Bluray Player and Dolby Atmos Problems

UHD Blu-ray compatibility and Dolby Atmos compatibility are known problems with the Xbox One X, it's unknown if Microsoft is aware of the scale of the problem and they will be fixed. Typically the Blu-ray app does get updates and fixes the issues and in
the past few days we have seen some fixes and titles that didn't play now do, but there is no clear place to report all the AV issues with the Xbox One X.

The Fifth Element is another UHD title also broken.

Blu-Ray likely won't ever be introduced onto an X-box console. I think this way because Blu-Ray is a Sony technology, and Sony utilizes Blu-Ray on the PS3 as one of the only remaining benefits it has over the Xbox 360. Of course, Blu-Ray technology on an X-Box console would allow for the storage of much more data on a single disc, but that's not the only technology available for it. In a similar way that the WiiU will be using their own special high-volume disc formats, I'm sure that the new X-Box consoles will have their own format as well.

Though, I get the idea that you'd want it so you can watch movies in the Blu-Ray experience using an X-Box. Yes, that would indeed be very nice.

    X blu-ray compatibility

    Hi there,

as far as I know the Xbox One X should play any DVD, Blu-ray or even 4k Ultra HD discs (Movies might still be regionally locked, not 100% about that)

Illegal copies can have issues on any device, so I would never advise to purchase them.

Why is the Blu-Ray Playback So Buggy On Series X?

Hello SonicXHero, My name is Khaji I am the independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Blu-ray playback on your Xbox Series X. I can offer some steps you can try:

    1. Make sure your Xbox Series X is running the latest system software. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address issues with Blu-ray playback.

    2. Some Blu-ray discs require firmware updates for proper playback. Check for any available updates on your console.

    3. On your Xbox Series X, navigate to Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Persistent Storage, and select "Clear Persistent Storage." This will clear any temporary data that might be affecting the playback.

    4. Go to Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Blu-ray > Persistent Storage, and select "Reset Blu-ray." This will reset the Blu-ray settings to their default values.

    5. If possible, try playing other Blu-ray discs to see if the issue is specific to certain movies or if it occurs with all discs. This can help determine if the problem is related to the console or the specific Blu-ray discs.

It's worth noting that occasionally, certain Blu-ray discs can have compatibility issues with specific players or consoles. If the problem persists with multiple copies of the same disc, it's possible that there may be an issue with the disc's encoding or compatibility with the Xbox Series X.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.
