X-axis inversion needed for XBOX Accessories controller support.

"Invert Y-axis" is an option for the Left and Right joysticks, but there is no option to invert the X-axis!

Some of us really need and like X-axis inversion as well. Some games offer inversion for both within game, but many do not. Having this option at the hardware level would be great! Please add this easy solution
which would provide great quality of life to your controller hardware and software. (p.s. I use an Xbox One Series 2 Elite Wireless Controller, but really this option should be a basic accessibility and quality of life feature available on all controllers
on a system/hardware level (as well as within games for that matter).

    Thank you.

    :)

Y-invert doesn't work for Quantum Break on PC

I'm using a controller. Also, the x-axis inversion and y-axis inversion setting changes don't change anything. The motion for the camera is still the same.

I just tried changing the sensitivity at the same time as the invert. No dice. Still broken.

    Thanks for your help though!!!

How Do You Flip the X axis on a USB controller plugged into the Adaptive controller

    Hi TripleTopper321

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your controller. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

I understand that you would like to have access to both the Xbox accessories app for the standard controller and the Xbox adaptive controller to be able to remap the x-axis of the sticks. I will do my best to assist you with this concern.

Now, to address your concern, the Xbox accessories app for the standard controller does not allow you to remap the x-axis of the sticks. However, the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller does allow you to remap both the x-axis and y-axis of the sticks.

To access the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller, you will need to connect the controller to your Windows 10 PC using a USB cable or Xbox Wireless Adapter. Once connected, you can download and install the Xbox accessories app from the Microsoft Store.

After installing the app, you can launch it and select the Xbox adaptive controller from the list of connected devices. From there, you can select the stick you want to remap and choose the "Remap button" option. This will allow you to remap both the x-axis and y-axis of the stick to any other button or axis on the controller.

Regarding your concern about remapping the x-axis of the right stick for camera controls, you can use the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller to remap the stick to your desired configuration. For example, you can remap the right stick's x-axis to the left stick's x-axis and vice versa.

As for remapping the x-axis of the left stick for a right-handed fight stick, you can also use the Xbox accessories app for the Xbox adaptive controller to remap the stick to your desired configuration. You can remap the left stick's x-axis to the right stick's x-axis and vice versa.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your issue. I hope all of this information's are helpful. We look forward on your response.

How do you invert axis Y for the right hand stick on the elite controller series 2

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good morning

To invert the Y-axis for the right joystick on an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, you can follow these steps:

On your Xbox One console, go to "Settings" and select "Devices & Streaming."

Select "Accessories" and then choose the Elite controller you want to customize.

Scroll down to "Customize your stick & triggers" and select "Right Stick."

In the "Sensitivity" menu, you can adjust the "Vertical Inversion" setting to invert the Y-axis.

Alternatively, you can use the Xbox Accessories app on a Windows 10 PC to customize the controller's settings. To do this, follow these steps:

Connect the Elite controller to your PC using a USB cable.

Open the Xbox Accessories app and select the Elite controller.

Select "Configure" and then go to the "Sticks" tab.

From here, you can adjust the "Vertical Inversion" setting for the right stick to invert the Y-axis.

    I hope this helps!

    Right Stick inversion

    Hello Cozier,

Thanks for coming to the forums. With the
    accessories app
on PC or Xbox console, you can configure the controller in many ways. Also, some games have an invert control option. They are usually Invert Y axis, or invert X axis.

    Hope this helps.

    X axis inversion

This thread isn't really about why.

Although if i must make the argument, the reason you would want to is because you're moving the camera. If you want you see to the left you move the camera around the subject to the right and so forth. If the subject for which you act as puppeteer in a game
had a joystick protruding from their occipital lobe, it would be operated thusly, like a camera on a tripod

Contrarily, I also personally can't imagine why anyone would want to do it the other way, which "most people" find intuitive.
