    X-APP Chat doesn't work


    What console do I own? Xbox 360

    What do I am I having trouble with? The Xbox App for Windows 10

    Is it not working? No, it works fine, except I can't access my Admin stuff and the Chat function is being weird

    Did you try contacting your club owner about this? I'd rather not.

    Why is Chat not working? Because it won't show up some times and other times it does. It also won't let me enter replies.

    Did you try uninstalling it? Yes. It wouldn't give me that option, though, despite having Admin status.

    Did you try re-installing it? The thought had occurred to me, but no one's told me where the thing is hiding in my system.

    Also, this belongs in Support, but it made me put it into Discussion for some weird reason.

    Party Chat Doesn't Work!

    My party chat does not work half the time on Xbox One. I get a message telling me to change my network settings, but I try and try and change them every which way I can and I still get the message. Granted I can connect every once in a while, but the problem
    gets worse and worse. How do I fix this? Is party chat not guaranteed on these supposed "Next Gen" consoles? 360 had party chat without a hiccup. I can guarantee it is NOT my internet.

    Sample Rate for Mic isn't supported

    The mic had worked for many other apps but doesn't work on the App alone, it works fine in discord, steam, and origin chat.

    That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
    or game chat.

    Actually I just followed this thread and watched their video and managed to fix the chat issue. I guess you can lock this thread now since I found the solution to the problem. Its basically where you spam "!@#$%^&*()_-:"]" until it says "you can't send similar messages" or something like that.

    When you get a moment, can you please let me know what you asked Mojang when you reached out to them? I'd still like to understand why they suggested for you to alter your account email, password, location if this is an in-game chat issue.

    As for a family account, you can learn everything about family accounts and settings here: Gaming for the whole family. Please keep in mind that family accounts are typically used for parents to prevent children from accessing higher rated games, blocking out specific online features, etc. Since you are able to use chat settings in other Xbox titles, I do not believe you have any restrictions that we would be able to assist with on the forums and your account may already be set as an adult account with no restrictions.
