Wy payed for gold on x1. Multiplayer is free

Wy do i payed for xbox gold.

Some People i know don't payed for gold but still played on xbox live Multiplayer.

For free.

Game DVR, Skype and TV Guide are Gold Only

To point out something, Skype is free on other platforms but.... If you wish to do Group Skype video calls that is now in a payed premium model of Skype. Now I believe the X1 Skype allows you to Skype Group vid calls as long as you have gold, which is also
for multiplayer and other things. So as I don't have Skype premium normally if I need to do this ill use the X1 and take advantage of that being included in my Multiplayer subscription.

 

Too early to judge GWG

I disagree maybe if we always got free games with the sub. This is relatively new program and I consider a bonus. I would and have payed for gold without free games. So any free game is great and as the library gets bigger for x1 sure we'll get some decent
titles.

 

They either had a free trial of Gold or there was an account that had Gold still and you pay for the Online multi player and Games with Gold and Deals with Gold thats all but it is worth it 100%

 

On Xbox One, if just one account on the console has Gold (and has set that console as the 'Home') all other accounts can play online multiplayer without paying for their own subscriptions.

Could this be what is happening?

 

No there is only one profile on the one. En that profile has no gold.

But he can play ghosts on multiplayer so you don't need gold.

 

There was recently a free Gold weekend, I believe it was the weekend of 23rd-25th May, and it's entirely possible that this user is using trial memberships to play online. Nobody would be able to play online without the correct permissions, whether by having
their own Gold subscription or being on the console of someone who does.

 

No thats not it.

He got his x1 now 5 months and make a new profile a did not pay for gold.

When i look at subscription and my profile it says xbox live gold till 14.5.2015.

And when he looks there was no subscription of xbox live gold.

Whe have a diffrent x1 so
